Measured Building Survey

David Cosby were delighted to be instructed to carry out a Measured Building Survey and prepare detailed survey drawings of this impressive Victorian building in Fisher’s Pond, Eastleigh.  Having been in use as the Queens Head Public House for a number of years, the building did offer some challenges with extensive fit-out works and panelling throughout.  We therefore utilised our Leica RTC360 laser scanner to measure the property to a level of detail and accuracy.  The resultant 3D point cloud from the scans was then used to prepare the CAD drawings.  Images of the 3D point cloud and CAD drawings can be seen below:

360 Degree Drone Photography

To supplement our ‘As Existing’ planning drawings we also captured 360 degree photography using a drone. These were intended to assist the planning consultants as a visual tool. Please try it yourself by clicking the link below.   Move between the images by clicking on the flashing links.  It is possible to zoom in and spin around in 360 degrees as you see fit – just don’t get vertigo!
