Badby and Fawsely both have distinctive mediaeval churches dedicated to Saint Mary the virgin. The church in Badby can be reached by a steep sloping path from the village centre. It contains a clerestory with ten beautiful perpendicular windows set in a continuous row with remarkably little supporting masonry.
