Thinking of Moving to Kislingbury?
Kislingbury is a delightful village located on the southern banks of the River Nene and approached via an old stone pack horse bridge. Situated 4 miles West of Northampton but surrounded by open countryside, Kislingbury was mentioned in the doomsday book of 1086.
Kislingbury is a relatively small village; however, there is a thriving community with an exceptional range of facilities including village store, three public houses/restaurants including the popular Cromwell Arms, and a primary school. Secondary schooling is available at Campion School in the nearby village of Bugbrooke and private schools are also well served with Quinton House and Northampton High School for Girls a short drive away. Although there have been some more modern housing over the past few years, many of the early stone and thatched roof homes remain.
The village has one of the few English churches that has been largely unchanged since it was built in 1330 and is reputed to be where Oliver Cromwell stabled his horses in 1645, the night before the battle of Naseby.
With access to junction 15a of the M1 motorway, the village is an easy commute to Milton Keynes where a wide range of shops and facilities are available as well as Milton Keynes Central Railway with direct and frequent trains to London Euston.

Photography
Creating the best first impression of your home is essential in order to achieve a quick sale. Our professional photography is captured using the highest quality professional grade cameras, lenses and flashes. We do not use fish-eye lenses to give a false impression; however, we will spend time preparing and improving the RAW image data in professional software to ensure that your home is presented in its best light with images that will induce a ‘show-home’ appeal.
Floor Plans
Our in-house surveyors are experienced CAD operatives and we draft all our own floor plans. This enables us to ensure a higher degree of accuracy than the typical estate agent floor plan. We also provide a level of detail that enables potential purchasers to understand the space and amenities within your home. We obtain our measurements for the floor plans using the latest laser scanners which helps to ensure quick, safe, and accurate collection of data.
3D Virtual Tours (Matterport)
As standard on all of our properties, David Cosby Estate Agents provide 3D Virtual Matterport Tours. This is a wonderful visual tool that creates 'an always-open house' allowing potential purchasers a high fidelity tour of your property that will be perfectly staged 100% of the time. It even enables the viewer to take dimensions - critical for planning their new furniture layouts!
